Every year, our team gets the opportunity to partner with the Greater Winter Haven Chamber of Commerce to host the October Networking Event. An event that we’ve dubbed, the “Halloween Bash!” It’s one of the events we look forward to all year. We love reconnecting with local community members, past clients, family, and friends every October. Last Thursday, we had such a great time with all of you!
The Great Pumpkin Decorating Contest
This year, we did things a bit differently. If you came last year, you’ll remember that our staff was involved in a contest to see who could decorate their office area the best. We tallied up your votes and gave out cash prizes to the employees that went above and beyond in their decorating. We changed things up a bit in 2019.
We still wanted to tap into our employees’ creativity, but we channeled it into pumpkins this year to match our theme: “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown!” If you came to the office or visited our Facebook page, I’m sure you saw some of our amazing entries. We even announced the winners on our weekly Facebook Live show, hosted by Steve Brooks.

The Incredible Haunted House by Jeffrey Yoe!
If you remember last year’s event, you’ll remember the haunted house we held in the office garage. We really stepped up our game this year, thanks to our amazing designer, Jeffrey Yoe! We brought in a real haunted house professional to scare the pants off of those unfortunate enough to visit it. We can’t thank him enough for the hard work he put in converting our garage into a genuine scare factory. He helped make this year’s event truly Spooktacular!
