“From $30K to $375K, Our Team Worked Hard For This Result”
I had a motor vehicle accident where our client was rearended. It seemed like a typical accident. She was in her mid-40s. She ended up having to have surgery.
During the case, she ended up moving from Florida back to Mississippi, where she was from. All the medical procedures and treatment took place in Mississippi.
The pre-suit offer was $30,000. We filed a lawsuit on the case. Through depositions, our client not giving up on the case, and our persistence, we finally settled the case for more than 10 times what the initial offer was. We got $375,000 for her. She walked away with a very nice check, and she was very happy with our services.
The things that we did differently than what other firms I’ve heard do are, we were in constant contact with her. I spoke to her at least once a week to find out how she was doing and what was going on injury-wise. It helped us with her case and also helped her get through all of the ailments, the injuries, and the process of this case.
The personal relationship that the client and I had is what helped us get through this. The initial offer, like I said, was $30,000, and again, we got $375,000. So, more than 10 times the initial offer and 3.7 times the mediation offer. It was due to our client’s tenacity and us telling her not to give up, to make sure that we were getting the amount that was justified and that she deserved.
Overall, it was a very good result. She was a very good client, and I was happy that we had that case.
