In November right before Thanksgiving, Brooks Law Group gives away around 250 turkeys to families in who might not have one for the holiday. While this event brings many people from the community together for one day of the year, it is our hope that the spirit of giving will continue all year long. This year we have held a clothing drive for women to have a professional outfit to wear during an interview. We also are planning and hoping to reach more families this year with our turkey give away.

These big events are a great way for us to give back to our community but we hope that not only our staff but our clients will remember to give back and show acts of kindness all year around.

Steve was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. As was the practice for new doctors his father worked day and night during his medical residency at Charity Hospital there. Steve comes from a long line of doctors. His father, his grandfather, his great grandfather, even two uncles were all specialists and/or surgeons in their chosen medical specialties, including internal medicine specialist, obstetrics / gynecology, neurosurgery and general practice / surgery. His great-great grandfather was the Surgeon General of Ohio during the Civil War.
