We Are On A Mission
We are people-first lawyers dedicated to serving all people so they get the legal representation they deserve.
However, we are aware that it is easy to say this and not walk the talk.
Let us share with you how our mission to help people get the legal representation they deserve is more than a feel-good statement.
Valuing All People
Today, in America, we are seeing more and more hateful, vitriolic language used to “other” people. There are lines being drawn, sides being taken, and hate being spread.
As attorneys, the focus of our work is on helping those who have suffered an injury. These injuries come from all kinds of situations. They can happen from a car accident, birth injuries, getting hurt at a venue, and more.
Folk who sustained injuries come from all walks of life.
We took an oath when becoming a lawyer in Florida, which included:
- “I will never reject, from any consideration personal to myself, the cause of the defenseless or oppressed, or delay anyone’s cause for lucre or malice. So help me God.”
- We are committed to loving and serving all Floridians who have a personal injury claim.
- As a business, we are committed to loving all people through our internal practices (such as hiring and promotions) and through our external practices (such as
- Marketing within our local communities).
We encourage our employees to bring their entire selves to work. This means that our leadership must display this first through authenticity. We know that when each person brings their passions, strengths, and vulnerability to the workplace, everyone benefits.
We are based in Tampa and Central Florida and serve clients across the state.
In our local communities, which include Tampa, Lakeland, Brandon, Plant City, and Winter Haven, there are people from all backgrounds, creating a beautiful bouquet of humanity. We are committed to loving and serving all people, which includes the following communities (and is not limited to) that are often overlooked:
- Black and African-Americans
- Native Americans
- Asians
- Latinos
- Immigrants
- LGBTQ+
- Veterans
Loving and serving all people also goes beyond these groups. It also includes the spectrums of age, religion, disability, socioeconomic status, education, marital status, language, physical appearance, and more.
If you think we are missing groups that are often excluded and you would like to share your thoughts with us, please send us a message.
Our Commitment to Learning
We understand that a commitment to loving all people means that we must also be continually learning. Along the way, we will make mistakes, and we want to assure you of our commitment to listening and learning so that we can live up to our declaration that we will love and serve ALL people.
It is not your job to educate us. It is our job to actively learn and grow as individuals and as a company. If you have the desire to give us feedback, we will gratefully accept it.
