Brooks Law Group’s Sixth Annual Turkey Giveaway!

To every volunteer, staff participant, and community member, THANK YOU!

Saturday marked the sixth annual Turkey Giveaway for the Brooks Law Group, and it was our biggest year yet! Brooks Law Group has been serving the state of Florida for over 25 years, and we first started right here in Winter Haven. It’s still where we call home! Just as our community has blessed us over the years, it’s always been so important to us that we do our part to give back.

What better time of year than Thanksgiving? It’s a time for stepping back to appreciate the many things we each have to be thankful for in our lives. It’s a time for family and friends to gather together to share a meal and to invest in each other. At the Brooks Law Group, we never want to stop investing in our local community. That’s why we choose to donate hundreds of Thanksgiving turkeys to families in need every year. It’s about making sure that every family in our community is able to share a meal worth remembering with the ones they love on Thanksgiving.

That’s also why we partnered again with Restaurants Against Hunger, a local nonprofit dedicated to providing food to those in need. The Turkey Giveaway provides more than just turkeys. In partnership with Restaurants Against Hunger and local donations, the giveaway also provides families with everything they need to make a full course Thanksgiving meal.

In 2018, we had our biggest Turkey Giveaway in six years. The Brooks Law Group donated 350 turkeys and Restaurants Against Hunger donated 2,000 pounds of produce and 1,000 canned goods!

Thank you again to everyone who took part. We couldn’t have done it without your support!

If you missed this year’s Giveaway, take a look at some of the pictures from the event. We’ll have more pictures and videos coming in the following weeks to share!
