In the state of Florida, personal injury lawyers are paid on contingency fees. This means the lawyer doesn't get paid, until they recover money for you. If they recover nothing, you pay nothing. . If we're successful in winning your disability case, you will pay 25% of the past due benefits as our fee. Along with these fees, in a disability case, there's a cap to how much an attorney can actually take of your past due benefits. This cap is $6,000.
